Are you passionate about remote IOM, but prefer to work for a medium sized, privately held IOM provider? Would you enjoy participating directly in the growth of an IOM company by participating in education, Q/A, and other high impact areas? Do you want to be more than a cog in a wheel?
We have an immediate opening for a board certified neurologist who is passionate about IOM. This is an established IOM provider, based in the North-East. All monitoring can be done from a home office. Our client will assist with obtaining any required state licenses and hospital privileges.
Location: Anywhere, USA (Licensure in NY or NJ is required for this role). Cases will primarily occur in NY, NJ, CT, and PA. Growth in additional states may take place in the coming 12-24 months.
Role: Remote Monitoring of adult and pediatric patients; Participation in a variety of interesting activities including the development of an educational curriculum for technologists, ad-hoc training of staff, and the development of Q/A protocols. Your opinion, contribution, and insight will matter. You will be more than just a “biller!”
Required Experience: At least 1 year of remote IOM oversight required; we will consider those who have less experience if they have completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and/or hold a specialty certification in IOM. Board certification in neurology is required.
Team: You will lead the oversight practice and be directly employed by other physicians. You will have a team of part-time neurologists and contractors to assist with coverage. Our client has experienced no turn-over since its inception. Those who join the team…stay!
Estimated Compensation: Negotiable based upon experience + benefits; Experienced candidates have a base salary in the $300k range with significant opportunity to earn more.
Compensation Structure: This is a full-time, salaried position. We are not seeking someone that wants to split their time monitoring for various IOM companies, nor those seeking contract work. All benefits, insurance, and licensure fees will be included as part of the overall compensation package.
Workload: 15 cases per day (on avg); Call will be coordinated in a fair and equitable manner. There is an emphasis on ensuring a reasonable case load that enables you to focus on patient care.
Case Median: 45 hours/week.
Coverage Help: All interpreting team members are board certified neurologists. If you have cases that run late into the evening, your workload will be balanced by reducing your schedule the following day.
Insurance: Liability, malpractice, tail, and cyber coverage are provided.
Benefits: A rich benefit program includes a robust healthcare insurance coverage plan, and a 401k, and profit sharing. Furthermore, all expenses associated with state licensure, hospital privileging, and home office infrastructure are covered.
