Opportunity: This is a unique opportunity to join an existing sales team that has unlimited growth potential. You will have significant impact on driving revenue across all clinical markets. Due to the influx of investment capital, the time is right for expansion across North America. There is virtually zero competition due to proprietary technology and it appeals tremendously to end users (hospitals, sleep labs, and neuro clinics) that seek to reduce their costs, while still offering world class patient care. This is a superior product line to represent!
Company: Our client has been in business for 30+ years and is financially stable, with $40 million in global revenue today. The company’s proprietary neurological technology is poised to explode into the neurodiagnostic, sleep, and physician marketplace. The company’s focus on research and development has always been its strength. Now, with a substantial infusion of capital, sales across North America will be supported by the emergence of a strong, nation-wide sales force.
The goal and the challenge: Your objective will be to leverage your experience in neuro sales across the Mid-Atlantic region. Call points will include neurologists and neurodiagnostic department managers. You will have numerous resources necessary for success, including a team of experienced sales colleagues, a newly minted marketing department, a seasoned clinical support staff, and a sales administrator. This is not a virgin territory, and while many key decision makers will be familiar with your products, you should not be averse to cold calling and opening new doors.
Responsibilities: Your “sales expertise” will be rewarded and appreciated unlike any other time in your career! We seek hungry, ambitious professionals that are not afraid to cold call and who understand the financial upside of working for an emerging leader.
Support: The company has a strong technical support team, comprised of clinicians and PhD’s in neuroscience. All of the “technical assistance” you need for product demonstrations will be at your disposal. Everything you need to succeed will be provided…the company just needs you to be the sales wizard that you are!
Location & Travel: 50%-70% travel (overnight, as needed) as well as quarterly trade shows will be required. The region is defined as the “Mid-Atlantic” territory and will include PA, MD, VA, WV, DE, and Southern NJ. Most appointments are scheduled Tue-Thurs with no weekend travel. Major markets include Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Baltimore. We prefer candidates currently residing in the coverage area due to familiarity with local hospitals — you should be able to initiate sales after 90 days.
Required Experience: 2+ years selling capital equipment and knowledge of the capital cycle. Familiarity with neuro call points in the EEG (long-term, ambulatory, and epilepsy) and sleep markets.
Compensation: A package in the $150k-$170k range that will include a highly competitive base salary + commission plan. Additional perks include a monthly car allowance, as well as a full benefits package.
