We have an opportunity for an IOM professional in the metro Boston area. Would you enjoy a consistent, predictable schedule that will be known 1-2 weeks in advance? Do you want to learn how to monitor crani’s or other complex cases? Do you prefer to never sign a regional non-compete that would prohibit you from working at many medical facilities across New England in the future?
Position details and requirements:
Clinical Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical IOM experience + CNIM certification.
Environment: The core is a smaller but closely knit group that has developed strong surgical relationships. All surgeries monitored remotely by a board-certified neurologist.
Call Requirements: Call is required every 5th week, but you will be handsomely compensated for your time.
Travel: None
Scheduling/Time Off: The majority of monitoring in this area involves elective surgeries. Therefore, you will often know your schedule 1-2 weeks in advance! 3-4 day weeks are the norm, although there may be 5-day weeks during peak season.
Case Breakdown: 85% spine, 15% craniotomies/vascular/ENT; Willing to train on craniotomies for those with the desire to learn.
Location: Boston, MA: You may live in the city, or anywhere in the Boston-Providence corridor. Residing in the “North Shore” or “South Shore” areas is also an option, giving you a broad array of choices.
Compensation: Total compensation will be in the $95k-$120k range + 401k + fully paid HC insurance + Relocation (if needed)
