We have an opportunity for an IOM professional in Eastern Texas. This encompasses the Tyler & Longview areas, which are roughly 2 hours from Dallas. The region is home to about 400,000 residents, making it large enough to have every amenity without the congestion of Dallas or Houston. There are dozens of suburbs along the I-20 corridor, which are excellent options too. If you are looking for an extremely low cost of living and minimal traffic, this could be a nice fit. The case mix is varied, and you will be exposed to all manner of surgeries.
Position details and requirements:
Clinical Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical IOM experience + CNIM certification. We may consider CNIM-eligible candidates in certain circumstances.

Call Requirements: Call is covered every 5th week on rotation and is well compensated.
Travel: None
Scheduling: 4-day weeks are the norm.
Case Breakdown: 85% spine, 15% craniotomies/vascular/ENT; You’ll see quite a few complex cases out here, and training on craniotomies is available to those with the desire to learn.
Location: Tyler or Longview, TX: This metro area would be categorized as a medium-sized community with every amenity. It’s close enough to DFW for a weekend visit but far enough away that you’ll avoid the congestion of a massive city.
