We have an opportunity in Birmingham, AL for a CNIM that would like to leap into a clinical leadership role. If you would like to elevate your career or are stagnant in your current role, this could be an enticing option. You will have an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills and be intimately involved in the delivery of IOM services in Alabama. The case mix involves a wide variety of surgeries, including complex craniotomies and vascular cases. The metro Birmingham area is home to more than a million residents, has an extremely low cost of living, and an economy based on the financial, healthcare and tech sector.
Position details and requirements:
Clinical Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of clinical IOM experience + CNIM certification. Knowledge of complex craniotomies and vascular procedures is required. Prior management experience is preferred.
Environment: Join a core team that works constantly with the same surgeons to create a pleasant and non-confrontational environment; All surgeries monitored remotely by a board-certified neurologist.
Duties: Scheduling, account management, maintaining team camaraderie, disseminating updates from the executive team, and a lighter case load of 10-12 cases per month. The clinical manager will take call once every 5 weeks.

Case Breakdown: 80% spine, 20% craniotomies/vascular/ENT.

Compensation: $115k base + managerial bonus plan in the $15k range + 401k (4% match) + 100% paid HC insurance + Relocation
